Fuchs Schmierstoffe GmbH – the world’s leading independent supplier of lubricants – has been developing and producing high-quality lubricants and related special products for almost all areas of application and industries for over 85 years.
Fuchs Schmierstoffe GmbH faced the challenge of adapting and expanding existing planning applications. Its objective was to use existing planning applications to plan excess and shortfall quantities. On top of this, several reports were to be prepared, including an extrapolation of the required quantities of raw materials for the coming years.
adesso conducted workshops together with the customer in order to identify the requirements and necessary adjustments to the existing planning application.
The implemented solution uses either the actual sales from SAP CO-PA, the excess or shortfall quantities planned by Purchasing, or planned sales. These can now be broken down into its raw materials by means of a bill explosion.
